Top-up Programme

During this year, students prepare a UK Level 5 diploma in hospitality management, delivered by CTH, the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality, the UK leading awarding body for the tourism industry. It is a national diploma, which means that all graduates have reached the same level of knowledge, independently of the school in which they have studied. It is a minimum knowledge that is tested, but it includes all disciplines usually studied in the hotel industry. The program includes practical training (service and cooking) in our gastronomic restaurant, along with finance, marketing and operations supervision. No class at ESH is more than 25 students.

Level 5 programme ends with a 4-months internship in Paris. Students in London must work during the program. All internships at ESH are selected by the school after an individual interview and selection process.

Level-5 application

Join us, apply online for direct admission to the Level 5. Direct admission after two years of higher studies in any field (120 ECTS credits). This program is available in English or in French+English (CEFR B2 level required)

Fees: 9800 € (including half board at school, French social security and books), this program is available in French (70%) and English (30%) or 100% in English in Paris or London.

Top-up teaching method

Manuals are included in the school's fees. A mix of French and Anglosaxon teaching is served for this Level 5. Lessons in English include guided learning, discussions and sessions tests, while French lessons (optional) are based on lectures and exercises in class for the management part, and practical work at the restaurant one day per week (learning by doing).

Selecting the best faculty is one of the secrets of ESH's success (all B3 lecturers): Alain Tribouiller, Rachel Page and Thierry Mérel were all three general managers; Stephane Gauthier was head of Best Western in France; Jean-Axel Pasdeloup was a yield manager for international hotel chains; Vira Krakhmal and Mira Dimitrova are both PhD in finance and tourism... Students evaluate their lecturers and the shool's organisation two times a year, this is how we get high level teachers for high level students.
